A program for future-facing discovery and exchange, inviting emerging performing arts practitioners from around the world

This residency program invites emerging performing arts practitioners from around the world—with a focus on Asia—to see the programs of Autumn Meteorite Tokyo and deepen mutual understanding by sharing their impressions and interpretations. In addition to cultivating new perspectives through discussions with mentors and artists, the program provides opportunities to interact with performing arts professionals from Japan and abroad, and for participants to share insights and ideas gained during their residency. By stepping outside of their usual spheres of activity and engaging in candid exchanges with their contemporaries, participants will inspire each other and develop lasting networks supportive of future collaborations. At the same time, Autumn Meteorite will take this opportunity to engage with the concerns and perspectives of the next generation, considering future directions for the festival itself.
