Pijin Neji + YCAM "Generative Sensei"

Dancer/choreographer. Represents neji&co. He danced in the butoh company Dairakudakan directed by Maro Akaji until 2004, and has been creating his own work ever since. His pieces explore the evolving nature of the body, wherein the voice and physical movement influence and transform one another.
He received the Yokohama Dance Collection EX Jury Prize and was selected in the Festival/Tokyo’s Emerging Artists Program for F/T Award in 2011. In 2016, he curated “Our Masters – Hijikata Tatsumi <방언/glossolalia>” at the Asia Culture Center in Gwangju, Korea. In 2024, he co-directed “Stand by Me” by Shinichi Anasako × Pijin Neji with Tentenko. From 2020 to 2023, he created the “Pandemic Report Trilogy” as neji&co.

The Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media [YCAM], commonly known as “YCAM,” is an arts center located in Yamaguchi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Since opening in 2003, YCAM has produced and presented works that utilize contemporary technology through collaborations with artists, centered around its research and development team, YCAM InterLab. Beyond exhibitions and performances, the center offers a diverse range of programs, including film screenings and workshops. The center also applies the knowledge and skills cultivated through its artistic production to engage in initiatives with the public and schools, such as media literacy education for children.

In 2019, Onoda won the 10th Sogen SF Short Story Prize (Excellence) for “Inchin Shikatsu (Reckless)”, and made her professional debut with that work in 2021. Her published works include “Gīku ni Jū wa Iranai (Guns for Geeks)” and “BYE: MY SPECIES.” She has also contributed to numerous anthologies.
Since 2016, her work has been reaching international audiences through, for example, the inclusion of “The Washing Machine Ate the Socks” in Insignia 2020: Best Asian Speculative Fiction, and the translation of “Lo Sbadiglio Di 4,6 Miliardi Di Anni ".

Artist, musician, and sound designer. Born in Yamagata Prefecture in 1981, Araki is currently based in Kyoto.
Working primarily with music, he explores the creative possibilities of listening with a humorous approach, constructing soundscapes through his distinctive interpretations. He presents his work in diverse forms, including theater, installation, performance, and sound recordings.
Recent stage works include “NO, BONCHI (Fast Research Scrapping)” (2025), “Vacant TT” (2024), “Soundtrack for Midnight TAMURO” (2021), and the solo exhibition “Why Don’t You Dance?” (2022). He is also a member of the music group NEW MANUKE.
